On Saturday March 1st the big carnival parade will take place in Enkhuizen!
Prince Hevea leads the procession through the city. But will you join in?
Every year during the carnival days there is a parade of beautifully decorated floats and cheerfully decorated runners. The Haringhoppers, the carnival association of Enkhuizen, make it a big party every year. The parade goes through the Westerstraat to the city hall, where the mayor hands over the key to the city to our prince. He will be the boss of the city during the carnival! Who knows what that will bring us?
Are you also participating in the parade? You do not have to be a member, but you can just register. Alone, or with a group. Children can also walk along, they can join the group of carnival 4 kids. It will be a super fun and festive walk through the city center: music, spectators and lots of fun together!
Come up with a theme and then get started, the crazier the better! The anticipation is just as important as the day itself. We are already looking forward to it! You can win a prize with the best/nicest/most beautiful contribution. The audience and a jury will decide who wins the prizes!
How do you participate?
