Thomas ‘Spats’ Langham is a fantastic English musician with an encyclopedic knowledge of the early jazz repertoire. He comes to our club with a great line-up. Some of you will undoubtedly recognize Spats from the duo he formed with pianist Tommy Burton, during our jazz festival in the twenties and not to forget as a member of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Beautiful stories and Broadway songs that you don’t understand why they are not played more often are performed by the band.
