What defines the Herringtown Jazzband is the unmistakable joy on stage that effortlessly transfers to the audience. The origins of this jazz band go back to 1977, when traditional jazz in Enkhuizen was already in full swing. A group of musical friends got together and started the “Herringtown Jazzband.” The band’s motto is, “If you’re feeling bad, miserable, or down, call the Herringtown now.”
