Fortune seekers, scholars, privateer captains, and soul sellers: you can encounter them all during the StoryTrail Theater Walk through Enkhuizen. On Sunday afternoon, May 3rd, storyteller Franciscus will take you on a tour of the city once known as “Master of the Zuiderzee.”
Along the way, Franciscus will tell you the most beautiful stories from the city’s rich history. You’ll discover how two anchors ended up on the wall of the Dromedaris. You’ll shudder at the gruesome tale of Greedy Greet. You’ll admire the cabinet of curiosities of city doctor Paludanus. And you’ll be there when an Enkhuizen captain goes into battle against a band of pirates.
