After many years and countless performances at home and abroad, the Phoenix Jazzband from Belgium presents itself as a group of passionate musicians who have combined their experience. Besides the familiar New Orleans repertoire, they also seek out those lesser-known songs rarely played by other bands. Spirituals, marches, gospels, ballads, blues, and even Ellington and swing jazz, with the occasional bossa nova or rumba, are delivered with infectious enthusiasm that will delight fans of authentic jazz.
