Voorstelling Chimera Trio

The Chimaera Trio has performed in venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Vereeniging in Nijmegen, and the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, and has appeared at various festivals. In 2019, the trio was part of the talent program “AVROTROS Klassiek presents.” Their CD “Fin de siècle” was released in the fall of 2021 on the international label MDG. In 2024, the Chimaera Trio released a second CD: “Mendelssohn, Hartmann & Gade: Clarinet Trios.”

Annemiek de Bruin (Clarinet) In 2016 she obtained her bachelor’s degree from the ‘Hochschule für Musik und Tanz’ in Cologne.

Irene Kok (cello) began her studies with Jeroen Reuling in the young talent class at the Artez Conservatory. Irene plays a Capicchioni from Cremona, provided to her by the National Musical Instruments Fund.

Laurens de Man (piano) is a versatile musician, active as a pianist and organist, both solo and in chamber music. He studied piano and organ (two master’s degrees). In November, recordings of his playing have been broadcast several times on Radio 4 and television, including Podium Witteman.
